Purpose: To come face to face with the REALITY of who Jesus and the Holy Spirit Are!

Individuals who seek for spiritual truth and the reality of God must have a personal encounter with God through Jesus Christ and the person of the Holy Spirit. The goal of the believer is to experience Jesus Christ. One’s faith should have an awareness of the Lord and His reality. Let the prayerful beat of your heart be that you would personally and continually experience Jesus Christ. This is not a one-time encounter but a life-long passion and spiritual hunger that endure. Our society is deficient because of a lack of knowledge: not the knowledge of information but rather of the knowledge and reality of God.

“The throbbing heartbeat of the New Testament is the continuous unembarrassed interchange of heart and thought between God and the soul of redeemed individuals.” -TOZER

The presence of God is empowering, embracing and enabling.

Psalm 27:8 (NLT) “My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘LORD, I am coming.’”

LUX Church

At LUX Church, we envision sharing the Good News of Christ’s death and resurrection with thousands of un-churched friends and people of all races in the City of Richmond and its surrounding communities many of who accept Him as Savior.

At LUX Church, we envision developing people into fully functioning followers of Christ through the word, worship services, Sunday school, and special events.

At LUX Church, we envision becoming a church where people model a biblical community: a safe place where we accept one another and are accepted; love and are loved, shepherd and are shepherded, encourage and are encouraged, forgive and are forgiven, and serve and are served.
